8oz cooked egg noodles (a type of lo mein/ chow mein noodle)
3 tablespoons of unsalted butter
1/2 cup of shiitake mushrooms
1 teaspoon of honey
1 tablespoon of boiled garlic puree (minced is also fine)
3/4 fl. oz of vegetarian stir fry sauce (we use
Lee Kum Kee brand)
1 tablespoon grated parmesan
12 chive batons
We precook our noodles for 3 mins and cool them for storage. Then reheat in hot water for 30 seconds prior to making the dish. Just follow the packaging instructions for how long to precook your noodles.
Drop noodles in hot water to reheat. Heat aluminum pan on high heat and add butter and melt completely. Add mushrooms and saute until browned. Add honey, garlic, and stir fry sauce and toss until heated through.
Remove noodles from water and drain briefly.
Add noodles to pan and toss until combined.
Garnish with parmesan and chives.
